Big news from The Paul Kaplan Group! We're excited to announce our expansion into the Pasadena condo market, bringing our trusted real estate expertise to one of Southern California’s most vibrant and historic cities.

Many people know me as a long-time advocate and expert in Palm Springs real estate, but what you may not know is that Pasadena was once my home—and it still holds a very special place in my heart. I have had a home in the Pasadena Playhouse Village for years, and I’ve always loved the energy, architecture, and culture this city has to offer. I'm very fortunate that I can divide my time between Palm Springs and my second home in Pasadena, savoring the best aspects of both cities.

Just like many Los Angeles residents seek refuge in the desert with second homes in Palm Springs, I find myself doing the reverse—escaping from the desert heat to enjoy my urban fix in Pasadena. While close to L.A., Pasadena is truly its world: a thriving city with tree-lined streets, stunning architecture, and a community-centered vibe that’s refreshingly different from the sprawl of Los Angeles.  And now there's the convenience of taking the Gold Line metro to LA when you want, too!

It’s less crowded, less chaotic, and full of charm—yet it's packed with culture, world-class dining, boutique shopping, (and amazing architecture!), and a strong sense of identity. Whether you're drawn to the Norton Simon Museum, the historic Colorado Street Bridge, or just want to stroll through Old Town Pasadena, this city offers something for everyone.

🏢 Why We’re Focusing on Condos in Pasadena

During my time here, I noticed something: there's no single, go-to resource for condo buyers and sellers in Pasadena—something that surprised me, considering how much demand there is. There are over 250 condo complexes in this city.  The Pasadena condo market is competitive, dynamic, and ever-evolving, and I saw a clear opportunity to bring clarity and guidance to the process.  

Much like we did with the popular PSCondos.com site in Palm Springs—which I originally co-created with Alex Dethier, who took it to a whole other level beyond my imagination—we’re now teaming up again to build a new platform focused entirely on Pasadena condos. Alex is a master in website development and marketing, not to mention a top agent in the Palm Springs area.  This new site will offer in-depth neighborhood guides, detailed listings, market insights, and expert advice for anyone looking to buy or sell a condo in Pasadena, CA.

We’re still in the development phase, but our goal is to launch soon and make it the definitive resource for condo living in Pasadena.
