Yes you can still find a home for under $300,000

Home sales in Palm Springs over the past year have had double-digit increases with no sign in site of a correction.  Historically low interest rates, coupled with urban flight to get out of the big cities, has contributed to the demand for housing here in the desert.  Inventory is at an all time low-  currently it is only 25% of what is was in 2020.  Many sellers are holding off listing their properties for sale because they're afraid they won't be able to find a replacement.
